NVirtual Rules & Regulations
As a registered member of NVirtual, you must follow the rules & regulations below.
General Requirements
- Members must submit real identity with full name (nickname is prohibited).
- Members must be at least sixteen (16) years of age at the time of registration.
- Members aged between thirteen (13) to fifteen (15) may register only with a Parent/Guardian Consent Letter, submitted at the time of registration.
- Members are expected to have a reasonable level of written and spoken English.
- Members must have basic knowledge of flight simulation techniques and/or online flying.
- Members are expected to be familiar with (but not limited to) the basics of aviation terminology.
- Pilots are only allowed to have 1 (one) account. Any duplicate account will be deleted.
- The pilot must use a valid email address, as it is the only way the Virtual Airline can contact the pilot. It is not the Virtual Airline’s responsibility if the pilot cannot access their registered email.
- If a pilot is ever removed from our roster and re-applies, their past record of participation will be reset to zero.
Flight Operations
- All flights must follow realistic procedures.
- Use approved simulators only.
- All flights must use the approved ACARS system.
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
- Time acceleration, pausing the flight for more than one minute, or being away from keyboard for more than 1 hour is prohibited.
- Members must maintain good manners and must not cause conflict or engage in bad arguments when flying online.
- Slew mode in Flight Simulator is not allowed during flight logging. Any Pilot Report (PIREP) with slew mode detected will be rejected.
- Any Pilot Report (PIREP) with unrealistic flight data will be rejected.
- The accepted landing rate is between -10 and -700 FPM (feet per minute). Any PIREP with an unacceptable landing rate will be rejected.
- The accepted landing G-force is less than 2.
IVAO Requirements
- Members must have an active and legitimate IVAO account.
- All flights must be conducted on the IVAO network.
- Respect for IVAO Rules & Regulations is mandatory.
- Follow IVAO ATC instructions at all times.
- Use correct callsign and flight plan.
PIREP Rules
- All flights can be reported using the approved ACARS program only. Manual PIREP submissions will not be accepted.
- Offline flights will not be accepted.
- Do not falsify flight data.
- Ensure accurate flight time reporting.
Restrictions
- Abuse of NVirtual Rules & Regulations may lead to suspension.
- Abuse of IVAO Rules & Regulations may lead to suspension.
- No unauthorized airline usage.
- Members are strictly prohibited from engaging in any form of selling, buying, or trading activities within NVirtual platforms (including website, Discord, and any affiliated channels).
- Any unauthorized form of advertisement, promotion, or self-promotion unrelated to NVirtual operations is strictly forbidden, including but not limited to other virtual airlines, communities, services, or commercial products.
- Posting referral links, affiliate links, or any external promotional content without prior authorization from NVirtual Staff is not allowed.
- Members are not allowed to use NVirtual name, logo, or identity for personal, commercial, or external purposes without written permission from management.
- Any form of spam, unsolicited content, or irrelevant discussions that are not related to NVirtual aviation activities is prohibited.
- Misuse of NVirtual platforms for personal gain, scams, or fraudulent activity will result in immediate suspension and permanent removal from the roster.
- Violation of these restrictions may lead to warning, suspension, or permanent ban depending on the severity of the offense.
Minimum Activity
- New members must submit a valid flight within the first 30 days after admission.
- Line members should submit a valid flight at least every 3 months. Otherwise, the member status will be changed to Inactive Pilot, and the member must contact staff to change the status back to Active Pilot.
- Members must submit a valid flight at least every 6 months. Pilots who do not fly within these periods may be removed from the roster.
- Staff members are excluded from the minimum activity regulation.
- Inactive pilots who want to return to active status must still have an active and legitimate IVAO account.
Communications
- Staff will only respond to inquiries regarding the Virtual Airline using approved communication tools (Email and/or Discord).
- The staff email address is available on the Staff webpage.
- NVirtual Ground Support is the official Facebook group of NVirtual.
VA Management
- Staff members are assigned to their respective positions.
- Staff members are not allowed to use Virtual Airline facilities for personal purposes.
- Staff members must be at least 18 years old.
- Staff vacancy information will only be posted on the News page of the website.
- If needed, the Executive Department may re-assign staff positions.
Other Information
- NVirtual is a non-profit organization and is not affiliated with any real-world Indonesian airline.
- Staff will frequently review applicant submissions.
- All trademarks, media, and logos belong to their respective owners.
- Any member’s IVAO account credentials collected by NVirtual will be displayed publicly on the NVirtual website.
GDPR Statements
- All member data collected by Nusantara Virtual (“NVirtual”) and its website is strictly protected under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Your information is used exclusively for internal purposes, including communication and activities directly related to NVirtual operations.
- Under no circumstances will your data be sold, used for profit, or processed for any purpose outside the official activities of NVirtual VA.
- If you wish to change, decline, or delete any of your personal information, you may submit a GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) data deletion request by email to info@nvirtual.net.
